Here’s a little problem I’m having with the function “Tool:SubTool:ProjectAll”: It gives a different result each time, that is, it behaves non-deterministically, so to speak.
I wonder if it’s a bug or a feature.
To reproduce the problem:
- Create two sub tools: a cylinder, and a lengthy cube. Arrange them like shown in the screenshot and the YouTube video. (The exact arrangement may not actually matter, though.)
- Set up the ProjectAll parameters like shown. (Again, it doesn’t necessarily matter.)
- Click ProjectAll, Undo, ProjectAll, Undo, ProjectAll…

The projection results you get will be skewed in a different way each time.
This makes the function unpredictable and rather useless for some purposes.
