Too ambitious??

Hello everyone

I’m a newcomer to Zbrush and sculpting, but I have been playing around with some 3D (Blender)

I think I want to try Zbrush but am I too ambitious to start with sculpting?
I mean, I havn’t really created any major 3D models yet.

Hope you can give some advise for a 3D newcomer

Just doodle away at first but as another noob, do not start with ambitious project too soon. When it does not work out as you expected that can be dishearthening.

Therefore experiment, try out tools, subtools, retopo, settings of brushes, etc, etc, go crazy and after you are feeling comfortable with the zbrush then it is time to decide beforehand what you want to do and try to follow-through.

I am still learning new ways to use various tools and their effects (but for most parts I still seem to just use claytubes, rake, smooth) but all that testing and trying builds up your comprehension of the capabilities of zbrush, at least until they once more pour a torrent of new tools on you to learn about .
