Not what you would usually expect to have been through zbrush I suppose. Thought you guys may be interested to see zbrush used for something inorganic. Base mesh and rendering in c4d. Displacements from Zb.

Thanks for posting. That is really well done!

Just miss on the top the lines of the rolling paper !
Seems too unlined slicked

Nice toilet paper roll, though perforations on the paper would be cool.
This will help wipe out the belief that Z-Brush is only good for organic models…

Awesome work Paul!
Looks good, very soft, some good toilet roll.

Hehe good one!
nice to finally see something else like a toiletpaperroll on this forum instead of all the heads, monsters, dragons and halflings
it made me smile.

Ah but even they need toilet rolls _ well maybe not heads…but then again…?
Excellent realism_ I guess the top surface texture could be done with concentric displacement texture.
We all need toilet roll
and noone can say they like rough toilet roll, we all want soft toilet roll.
Hey guys, thought it would give you a chuckle .The reference roll I modelled from actually has no visible edges on the ends. It is clean cut through and the ends are just soft fuzzy surfaces, no concentric rings.
lol interesting subject
fascination…
I love it! lol
