To enlarge working canvas

dear all,
I neeâ an advice, maybe a script to enlarg the canvas.
I bought a new LCD 19" and presently can work on a larger canvas.
I have first to either manually change it in the Document palette, or save a document and open this after the Zbrush stored config.
That is too slow.
A button of a script on a screen would be much handier.
But I don’t feel I can do the script.
Or is there a simpler way to hasten the enlarging canvas?

All you need to do is set up your canvas how you want then save the document to your ZStartup folder as StartupDocument.ZBR. It will then load automatically every time you start ZBrush.

Thanks Marcus,
but there might be smth wrong with my Zbrush: such way would not work.
Perhaps too many changes cause a conflict?

How are you changing the canvas size from the default? There shouldn’t be a problem with this. Change the canvas size so that it is large enough then make sure you are saving the document as StartupDocument.zbr and in the ZStartup folder.

God,
I did try like you said, Marcus.
No avail.
How I did it?
When in the document palette, I clicked on “Pro” button first, so that to switch off propotional alteration of the size.
Since1024 x 768 pixel resolution was a standard one in various monitor settings,
I introduced just those figures… and the Document, after saving, would not open with them stretching the canvas.

Then an idea got into my head, and I introduced only 1024 leaving the “Pro” for the program itself to put in the lower figures…

And then those happen to appear 767, not 768.

And suddenly, all worked swell and saving document like you advised got it!

Now I feel happy,
Thanks again.
