Hello Everyone
I’m having a bit of an issue I was hoping people could help me with. I’m creating a basic animation for a faux 3D game. Basically, over my timeline, the changes I made to a single layer are changing. I know that sounds weird, but let me try to explain.
I am animating some wings on a wasp. I have a “wing down” layer that, when it has a value of one shows the wings all the way down. I created key frames when the “wing down” layer is at 1 and another key frame when the “wing down” layer is at zero. I then copied these key frames and set them to cycle a 4 frame intervals.
The Problem:
The wings aren’t going all the way down by the end of the animation. The “wing down” layer still shows a value of one, but the wings are only rotating half as far as they normally do. It appears that, over many frames, the wind down state on the axis is shrinking. The camera angle and the angle of the wasps body are not moving at all.
I was unable to find any search results in the forum, so please forgive me if this has been answered in another thread or if its a common issue.
Any help would be awesome, because I really don’t want to have to tell my boss were going to have to get a new program and rig the characters. I guess I could record the movie with only two frames and then duplicate and repeat them in premier, but I would like to have other animations for the characters mixed in and would like to have the wings flap during those animations without a lot of post production work.
Thanks again!
