This project allowed me to get to grips with Keyshot properly for the first time. It was a whole lot of fun being able to jump between zbrush and keyshot so effortlessly.

Would love to see some breakdowns.
I particularly like the mouths on the speakers;D
Cheers Rasmus, Sam. The ghetto blaster, microphones , robot and VW badge were blocked in Maya initially, but all three characters were sculpted entirely in zbrush, (all hair / stubble etc was created with fibermesh).
I used Keyshot for rendering: It was my first proper experience using it and I found the seamless integration provided by the Bridge a joy to work with. I’ll definitely be incorporating this into my workflow from this point on. It removed all of the pain and frustration from the rendering process and I was amazed at how forgiving it was; I was able to render the entire scene (all three characters and the ghetto blaster /with high resolution geometry and polypaint textures) as one without having to first break it onto component pieces. All on my laptop. Very impressive stuff.
Here’s a breakdown of the (Keyshot) render passes used to composite the final image in Photoshop (there were a couple of others/mainly to fix very specific regions, but these represent the main ones).
All were applied using relevant blending modes (screen/multiply/ vivid light etc), masked/ colorised and adjusted where necessary for maximum control.
haha the last one is epic, really nice thread !
Thanks Retro!
Great stuff. I love the model of Peter Cushing.
Thanks Matt

Love it…

Nice style man!

Had the chance to revisit this recently. Re -rendered some new passes (Keyshot) and fixed a few things that were bugging me.
