So, as time goes by - think i`ll start a personal sketchbook, too :slight_smile:
I hope i will make it to produce some finales instead of tons of sketches.

So at frist, i think i should tell something about myself.
I am 29, german 3D Animator, employed in a postproduction company in Frankfurt.
I`m in 3D and Compositing since 1996 working primary with 3Dsmax and Vray. Discovering Zbrush in 2005 opened doors in mind.

So, i`ll start with a current concept i spent some hours, exploring 3.5. Currently heavy wip and hopefully something near “Final” in near future.

This is a really great character. The pose and presentation draw one to make assumptions and conclusions. And a really, really, cool idea for a child of the cosmos… :wink:

This is a pretty freaky character but I like it. Probably because it is posed very well and looks like it is truly in motion. :+1:

Thanks for your kind words, -really pushes me forward to go on.

After leveling my spiritmaster in AION further on to 23, i spent some hours in progress of Mrs.Schnabulon.
I did a complete retopo, went over the hands and adjusted shape overall. Still much to do, but it`s a nice learning process.
I got some anatomy reference stuff and hope to get closer to the result i am currently looking for.
will continue

Well, here is something inbetween. Something from the days of my childhood. I just wanted to do this character. So here is the ZTool, if you want to go some Ant-hunting :slight_smile: Feel free to do everything with the model you want to do.

I found out, that i am lacking of knowledge about anatomy. In some kind of natural understanding, i do know where there are muscles and stuff, but since i never really took the time for a close look…

Well, what do i wanna say? Reference is a major tool. Zack Petroc really did some amazing GnomonDvDs and he has sculpted a beautiful human muscle-model for refrence. You can get the model at his site @ [http://www.zackpetroc.com/](http://www.zackpetroc.com/) And i was looking for some anatomical figures to really understand whats going on under the skin. [attach=161654]refrence.jpg[/attach] These figures are available at [http://www.freedomofteach.com](http://www.freedomofteach.com) Just 2 Tips, i am hoping, those will help me to improve my skills and of course a tip for everyone who is in scultping or art overall.

Don`t get me wrong. This is not a direct advert for those products, but i really think, they are a great reference and its worth to point at them.

I have one of those guys next to my computer and I use it constantly. It really is worth the amount I paid (which ws a lot to import it from america)

Unfortunatly I just have the non painted version and I wish I had a female one. Hummmm maybe my christmas present from my girlfriend :smiley: :+1:
