OK I am most likely forgetting something I learnt ages ago but I just can not fix the following workflow problem. Maybe somebody knows the answer.
Thanx in advance. Here it goes.

I make any old object - lets say a sphere (PM it ofcourse) and put a texture like a black and white grid on it and then do the wire thing on it like Meats Myer. Before I do that I mark the object .
Then I have two objects that are basically exactly the same size and shape except one is a solid object and the other is a wire object from this first object.
Now here is the problem. HOW CAN I GET THESE 2 OBJECTS TO ALIGN PERFECTLY???

HMMM I am just stumped. I tried to align them mechanically but that is like almost impossible.

Of course the idea is that I will have a mesh composite of the 2 to use anywhere else either as a ztl or exported as a obj.

append it as a subtool. if they have the same position they should line up perfectly

IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY?

I ask because it may help as one does the destructive sculpting.
