Third go with Zbrush problems with Zspheres

Hi guys, this is my third go with Zbrush. I want to make the body with Zspheres but am having problems with polypaint, Zbrush crashes when I press the “new from polypaint button”, does this not work with Zspheres? DOG .jpg

It should work fine.

Is the model still attached to the ZSpheres or did you skin it? What happens if you press Tool:small_orange_diamond:Texture:small_orange_diamond:Uv>Txr?

You may want to try skinning the model (if you haven’t already). Then go to level 1 and assign a blank texture to the model. Press Tool:small_orange_diamond:Texture:small_orange_diamond:GUVTiles and then use the Texture from PolyPaint button.

After making a model with Zspheres, I then paint/texture it, when that is finished I click the ‘new from polypaint button’ (as I did when texturing the dog model (picture above) but with Zspheres it always gives an unexpected result such as turning the model black or changing the painting/textures or just crashing!

I am very new to Zbrush so I am sure it is something I’m not doing.

Please follow the steps in the last paragraph of my previous response.

Couple months ago I had a problem just like this.

When you press “defaultZscript” does it pop right back to your modeling screen?

It means your zbrush program didn’t initialize correctly when started the program.Usually happens after having your com on for a while before starting zbrush.

Restart your computer and go straight to zbrush and you notice that the option menu doesn’t automatically go straight to the modeling screen anymore.

Press “defaultZscript” and it stays in the beginning menu as well.

That should do it.hope so.
