Thief - Real Time

Hi everyone, I’m glad to introduce my new personal project - Thief. This is the fan art of Garrett the Thief - one of my favorite game characters. When I created this character, I put all my effort into stop being the one who makes only knights.
Steps and Software:

  • Sculpted in Zbrush
  • Skin projection were made through R3DS ZWRAP
  • The whole suit and cloaks were made in Marvelous Designer
  • Modeling, retopology and UV unfolding in Maya (packing in Rizom UV)
  • Bakes and Renders in Marmoset Toolbag
  • Textures in Substance Painter
  • Post production of photos and texture maps correction in Photoshop
  • Post production of video in After Effects
    Total polycount is 160k Tris (155k for character and 5k for hair)
    4 - 4k texture sets for clothes and equipment
    1 - 4k texture set for head
    1 - 2x1k texture set for hair
