Thickening a single plane poly ... ?? [SOLVED]

I used the SliceCurve brush to cut a tool in half, so it left two halves that are of course like paper cups. I’m aware that a poly skin like this can be thickened in the Topology sub-palette, but how do I thicken it if it didn’t go through an adaptive skin workflow?

Try ‘Tool > Subtool > Extract’ and don’t forget about the ‘Accept’ button.

Using “tool > geometry > panel loops” with loops turned all the way down, polish set to 0 and bevel set to 0, will also add thickness to your geo. It will also produce much cleaner results than the subtool extract method.

Thank you both. Both techniques have their merits and are extremely helpful.
Much obliged!!
