Looking nice so far. I think you could try polypainting on it to test out some texture and color on it, and you already have the concept as guide for the colors. Keep at it man!
The only thing missing is the wound that made him a zombie. If that is the mythology that you are following. A gash in the neck is always effective. Keep it up.
Also dont forget the 4 stage system of becoming a zombie. Stage 1 being the freshly made zombie with fresh blood and a fresh wound and stage 4 being the deteriating flesh, bone showing, rotting muscles.

In regards to the comment above; Aren’t zombies just the living dead? Doesn’t that mean that he could’ve died from a heart attack and still become a zombie?

No disrespect taken. There a few ways to become the undead. My favorite just happens to be gashes to the throat hahaha!
