I was testing BPR, aged marble is what I have in mind. I rendered this just to see what’s going wrong. (a lot actually lol) But its a nice base mesh for sculpturing details.

About base mesh and re-topology, I use blender and 3Dcoat. New auto re-topo in 3DC is impressive but unstable.

@jestrada, thanks, about 3dc, its a buggy app so test it carefully. But its a part of my workflow, I can’t work without it. The zbrush re-topology is terrible if I may say.

I have a Nvidia GTX 275 graphic card and I it runs very smooth with the new update 3.5.02. You can find it and the 3DC forum.

The graphic card is a issue . because it get’s ustable if you have a ATI graphic card.

@scaale: 3DC is not unstable on a mac, I was rather talking about auto-retopology, more or less unpredictable. Last 3.5.04 build is fine and I use autopo more often now. Meanwhile new zb4 is more topo independent, so I started using 3dc for retopo and fast basic voxel sketches only.

Another two direct BPRs, only vignette and DOF map in Ps.
One question: What negative value of SSS on mixer means?

still searching the secrets of BPR and sss.
If we could have some nice hair system here… just saying.
A direct BPR here, minor PP (vignette, DOF and composition of the sss render)
I think that is better to have a separate sss map, changing slightly the position of lights.
