The Triclops is back (revisited)...

… and yeah, I’m tired of him too! :stuck_out_tongue:

triclops001.jpg

This week, I’m preparing some stuff for a workshop I’ll give next weekend here in Brazil. Then I decided to take the after hours of the last two days to tweak this old model a little. I decided to send him to the gym so he could get in better shape for the presentation  But seriously, he is a little too well defined and I’ll probably make things softer on the final piece. The hands were not touched yet. You know, still a lot to fix, as always! This is the base of the new model (no details yet, like veins and facial details). Hopefully I will get the time to improve it a little more before Saturday (the day of the workshop).

-Kris

(if you have a second… i would really appreciate your opinion on a face im doing… the link is my signature… i would really appreciate that… as i’ve said, you’ve been an inspiration in my work.)

baker17,
yeah, my intention was to make a centaur since the beginning but I’ve seen so many CG centaurs lately that I decided to try another thing
Maybe I’ll try some different beast mixed. Let’s see

Thanks!
-Kris

Very nice indeed - it seems everything you touch turns to gold
I can’t wait to see the updates on this.
You’re always an inspiration.
By the way, when England get knocked out of the World Cup, like many others, I will be supporting Brazil!!!
Keep it up dude, and thanks for everything so far…

Antropus,
I HAVE TO HAND IT TO YOU!
The physique on you model is outstanding and I agree that you work is inspirational.

The work on the anatomy is fantastic. I can’t wait to see the final.
Looking forward to more on this piece.

Cheers,

Hey Kris! Beautiful anatomy on this character. I was wondering if you use any kind of workflow other than just going by hand and defining all his muscles. Another this that I saw on the wireframe model and im wondering, is that in some parts it looks like you did some edge loops or added another level of subdivision to just that area.

Very inspiring work, I even look at your models for anatomy reference.

Have a good one!

Javier Loredo.

Only one things, YOU MAKE IT LOOKS EASY MADE THAT!!!
This my best coment, I could say, everything you do looks so simple, like nature, and that it is the best gift for an artist.

Thank you
, Arturo

Great topology…! it realy makes a difference on the final image.:+1: :+1: :+1:

Hi nice model. So i guess you know zbrush enough. I wanted to ask that is it important to make different body parts each separately with resolution of above 1million polys or can i make a full character of same resolution as yours as a single file of say below 2million polys?:confused:small_orange_diamond:confused:

awesome work

Hehe, I love how his head seems kinda small with that muscular body underneath. He must be a bit stupid! Great to see all those well made muscles on it; can’t wait to see how you will soften them down a bit. :+1: :+1:

Nice guy!:+1:
But, isn’t it one of your old models?

Why there is no smile on his face?

Love this one - great form.

Beautiful work Kris, I remember seeing this guy on your website for the longest time and wondering why you never finished him, hes such a powerful character. Now I wish I was in Brazil to see that workshop

Wonderful…
I could look at your mesh for hours!
Could you send some higher pictures please, my eyes hurts.
