The Sketch Thread of Wilbert Pierce

I have been following the talent on ZBC for years now, and I finally decided to get my act together and start sharing my work with the community.

Alot of my work is trapped on my old laptops damaged hard drive so until i can get the data recovered I can only posts what images I salvaged and what I’m working on now.

First up are lost Cast replica models I was working on. These are actually my priority to begin working on again. T.T So all Comments/ Crits would be appreciated so I have a direction to return to once I get the .ztls back
Some more anatomical casts
The first one was a challenge because I can’t really grasp how those breasts should fall in space. And no one willing to model for me.

Sculpted from blocks and a cylinder, of course we have the david pieces. It was actually working on these that got me familiar with the retopology and projection tools.

Now I move onto work I am making now. Heres some progress images of an Ironman Model I am working on.

So I made this one dynamesh in about 5 minutes just to see what I could get done. And it springboarded a whole model 704346_10200138595209054_1852619050_o.jpg

Low poly meshes I am creating from the high poly mock up. I pre chamfer the edges in my retopo so they will mostly stay sharp.

really nice sculpt man iron man is my favorite! i like where this is heading! keep it up cant wait to see the finished piece

Poly Frame Update.jpg Making something this segmented is really a learning process. Slowly banging out the rest of the retopo pieces. There are 4 subtools in this picture, seperated into Helmet Arm Chest and Torso Areas.

I usually cut the retopo section out of my timelapses but I figured someone would want to see it. so here i have the whole shape built. Now im going in the crisping edges by adding additional loops.

Proportion comparison with some Phil Saunders Concept. Comments? Crits?

If your doing proportion comparisons, you’re better off comparing it to the actual Mark VI model. Check out Ian Joyner’s website, there’s a nice orthographic image of the suit.
