Here is my tribute to the actor Christopher Walken; loosely based on the scene from True Romance (in which he plays Vincenzo Coccotti ‘The Sicilian’, opposite Dennis Hopper). He’s a little older here than he was back then (partly as a result of the reference used, but also because I quite liked the craggier looking face. This is my first proper zbrush project and took a few weeks to complete (although i learned a lot in the process, so hopefully the next one won’t take half as long). Rendered in MentalRay All comments and crits welcome
Great sculpt. Love the style!
Great face, nice modeling and texture. Gotta love the man. You did a great job. Bravo!
Almost every movie I saw of him he has some weird hairdo moments: one instance where all those nice and smoothly gelled hairs get wild and seem to jump at you. Ever notice that?

Bravo !!!
Very good work, inspired by a very good actor …
Very Cool, Man!
Sweet! I love the caricature style of this, both dark and funny. Very well made, well done! :D
I think that Christopher Walken would be very happy to see his caricature!
I love the style and the atmosphere of the image! Very cool!!!
Thanks to everyone so far for the kind comments. Bimm the Stone: totally agree about the hair too! Thought I’d include a higher resolution image here:

nice caricature, although it still seems kind of in between. Im glad you learned a lot, thats what its all about, looking forward to your next project
I would suggest to make one eye crooked. It’s a feature that really stands out about him. Here’s a photo I found to better illustrate that.
