Hello everyone, this is my first semi-original piece, The Shape Of War. I’m excited to share it with you.
The piece is inspired by Steve McCurry’s photography and reflects on the deep impact of war. War destroys not only material things but also leaves emotional scars, and only peace can bring true hope and prosperity.
The model was created in ZBrush, textures were painted in Substance Painter, and rendered in Maya.
From starting with no experience to completing this work, I faced many challenges but i’m happy to have overcome them. There’s still much to learn, and I look forward to exploring and telling more stories!
