Just started working on it. Thought of sharing with you all. Doing some experimentations with alphas and textures to get the feel of translucent skin.right now just poly painting.

Hello bluepearls, thats a very interesting looking creature. Great design! I love the face and all the tentacles on the head. He would look even better without those big horns. For some reason they dont fit, but that`s just my opinion. 
Other than that I like it a lot! 
i hope you are going to render this in some nice underwater environment?
