Salut Seb. great job on this so far, looking forward to seeing more!
Absolutely incredible.
Crazy cool work Seb!!! U are pushing the hard surface modeling in z-brush one big step further again! Can wait to see more!
Math. xx
I was thinking I was done with the innner helmet, but finally, I’m not sure I’ll do the creature head inside…
Maybe I shouldleave the helmet empty in order to show the inside details… I might need to add structure on this one as well…
I’ve added an articulated part, and faked moving parts:
are you going for acuracy with this?
not being an ass or anything (sorry if its been said before). but the heads of the evas were organic, the piolet sat in their backs in an “entry plug”

the images look amazing btw
Damn I love this thread! Wonderful modeling man!
Maybe I shouldleave the helmet empty in order to show the inside details
Pff, details-shmetails…NO, you should leave the helmet empty so I can wear it at work. It will be my “thinking cap.”
wow i love the textures and how you break up the shapes.
Absolutely stunning work. Can’t believe except the base mesh everything is made in ZBrush …simply amazing!
Can’t wait to see the finished piece and very interesting to follow your progress!
Super hard modeling here again
I hope you will textures and render it in Mentalray or an other renderer.
Gonna look ace!
I think I’m done the the innner helmet.
I will finally not make the creature face, and leave the details visibles, after so much work that would be a waste… I put few tubings to add more detached volums
I need to add few assembly lines on the airs intakes’back, and an attchment on the lower jaw + a support for the 3d printing, and it will be complete…
Getting there!
Looking good Seb!
Where do you think you will have it printed? in plastic?
thats pretty crazy
ya it will look sicker with a nice shader/render
this is all really inspiring it’s great to see how to break up shapes and give the illusion of all sorts of strange mechanical elements on a surface. I hope you don’t mind me copying all the screens for reference sake.
Like most everybody else I think this is some pretty incredible stuff and I can’t wait to see what else you do!
Looking good , a true labor of love right there.
This is super detailed! Amazing in all aspects
Hey Seb, great stuff!
Would love to see you compile the images and probably share a little tips and trick along the way of you working on this masterpiece!
Good luck…loving it so far

Great work, and thanks for sharing…
Awe-inspiring work Seb
If you ever have the time, it’d be great to see a video of you working on one of these pieces.
