The Pale-Eyed Devourer – Digital Sculpture
With this creature, I wanted to sculpt something that feels ancient, watchful, and profoundly unsettling, as though it has endured beyond natural time. The damaged membranes, distorted anatomy, and glazed eyes reflect my fascination with decay as a form of visual storytelling. I often gravitate towards organic imperfections, allowing texture, erosion, and asymmetry to dictate the character’s history. This work embodies my ongoing exploration of fear, survival, and the hidden beauty that resides within monstrous forms. I am perpetually drawn to the grotesque sublime, where beauty and terror coalesce within the same anatomical language.
