The old little green man from mars (head)

This the fourth head I have done useing zbrush to detail a base mesh from Lightwave. The color
texture and all detailing was done in zbrush just pulled the model over rendering. I have to say I
am really enjoying using Zbrush as a texturing tool. I am not sure why. I have deep paint 3d and use
it but this seems to make me more comfortable when working on the textures.

Really nice model and yeah the texture is also really nice…
I love it! nice pic. :+1:

Nicely modeled and textured, strongarm. 50.

cool, great alien head

Thanks for the comments, I will be adding the rest of him shortly. Need to design a retro
50ish space uniform and raygun for him.

Oh, this is gonna be good! Can’t wait for the finished piece. 50.

I have been working on the design of his suite and ray gun but had some time to finish the skin
portion of the martian. Here is his hand and the export from lightwave. I can’t imagine trying to
do this kind of thing without zbrush. Will update as I get the suite done.

thanks for looking,

Wonderful work Strongarm! Looking forward to seeing your update!:+1:

Keep going, strongarm! 50.

Here is a little teaser for the mars boy. Outfit is done working on expressions and need to put
bones in him. Still have to complete his raygun. His eyes are too reflective but I will fix with some other stuff as I get close to finishing him out.

He is going : “Dude wheres my spaceship?!”
Very nice model.

I agree with previous comments¡
Is a great work¡¡

Oh I like! 50 and I wanna see this guy on a MAR NEEDS WOMEN! poster.

That is a great Idea. I had not put much thought into how to use him after completetion but a propaganda poster for Martian space force could be a hoot. thanks for the comments.

I will have more pics once I have the bones in. I Will be trying to make some of my morph targets in zbrush as I found a feature in lightwave that lets you put a model of the same amount of points in the background and make a morph target from it. I could just export .obj expressions from zbrush that way since zbrush has much better tools to manipulate geometry than Lightwave does in my opinion. going to test this today and tomorrow. will have a update this week as time is available.
