The new Gargoyle tower is almost complete

[Icon.jpg[/ATT]]](http://[att=4931/) Another in the series:
Here is an image that has been gathering dust on my harddrive for a couple of weeks now, it’s called: “The New Gargoyle tower is almost complete.”
As always, all elements created in Z and composited in PS.

close-ups, as trying to scale an image to fit on the web kills the details:

Feedback appreciated.
Sorry if I am posting too much, somebody slap me if I am:+1:

Post as much as you want man, because your art is amazing and needs to be shared! I agree with MTB, I think you need to make some posters of your work. Go to cafepress or someplace, make some money on it! LOL

Keep posting! I’m sure you are inspiring a lot of people with your art. That’s one of the coolest things about forums like these.

Anytime you see something like this, your imagination boosts up a couple steps. Inspiration is also imaginitive growth.

I gotta say that the series is a super detail extravaganza. Mighty fine and ultra robotic. That organic in the middle is beastly.

What should I say? Thats a great tower!!!

Youre joking, Meats! No1 will ever do any harm to you for posting here ^^
Thanks for sharing your work with us. By doing that, you incite people to reach for new goals, like you did to me like 1 year ago
Thanks!

…of the traditional gargoyle in a new style indeed

PS Is not possible to make some 360 spheric 3D panorama like these one ?
That will be terrific : (this guy is like you : a mad accumulator !

Have fun!

Your posts are not only great to look
at, they provide inspiration on what can
be done.
The only minus is that it makes the viewer work
harder.
Just don’t get to burnout phase.

By the way, is this low-income housing?

hi,

cool composition on this one!

I am wondering about the lights…are you using a pre-existing light set up for jantim’s material, using his lights, or your own? hahaha and are ya willing to give em up if they are yours?

also I have to ask this…cuz i am a curious sob…was this done with a beta of the new goodies? i ask cuz the cage around your creature seems given what I have seen of pixolators previews to be made of a mesh not of the creature…but follows the form too well…and I am thinking your ease and quickness of these wonderful goodies you are posting can only be done with the new version. If so, between you and pixolator’s posts I think my prayers and questions have been answered hahahahahaha.

Hi all,
man you have done an incredible work, compliments…:+1:
I’m waiting for your dvd, i’ve order your and Z. Petrock 22 december:confused:
bye

Zazzle has less types of merchandise than Cafe Press, but significantly more options within what they offer – more sizes to choose from, as well as different inks and papers. Less freedom on the pricing, though. Cafe Press lets you add whatever markup you’re comfortable charging, where Zazzle sets it’s own prices and you just get a straight 10% off every sale. Unless the sales come directly from your referral links(and why wouldn’t they?), at which point that’s bumped up to 17%.

What’s nice within there is that the user gets to pick what size and media they’re willing to pay for without a lot of extra work on your part – with Cafe Press, if you want to offer more than one option on a submitted image, you pretty much have to submit it again as a new product for every one.

That said, it’d be much more economical to just mass-produce posters yourself and ship 'em out as needed. It just feels like, even with all the overhead they’re taking care of for you, these services are making too much money off of your work.

There may be other services that offer a better compromise in your favor, but this is about as far as my own research has taken me.

read here. (MTB asked your question as well)

I know your secret agenda, Meats !
You want the toprow just for yourself…

jantim

Never is too much!!!

I’m sure all the forum are waitting your next post…I do.

I’ll slap you if you stop, how bout that?
Okay question, on average how many layers do you use?
Also, doc size at about 4096 x 3072 maybe?

Thanks man. God, this is good stuff.

Ha! I say we give him his own row
Always a treat, Meats!

Thanks everyone, glad I’m not making anyone mad by posted too much
And thanks for the printing suggestions!

Aminuts-

Actually, I didn’t use Jantim’s material much on this one, I’ve started to make my own shaders, I have about five that I am happy with, nothing as good as jantims yet, his make everything look good. I have some decent ones, but they only look nice under certain conditions. I will post them all when I get them sorted out.

Mahlikus-

As many layers as I need  I try and stay around 5 or so because of memory issues, just enough to make sure I can have a little space around each seperate object so that I can manipulate it without effecting those around it. Res? I always start at 4096x4096 - even if I plan on cropping in PS later…gives me more room to design…

Meats do you spend ages making all the parts & then assemble them, or do you make it up as you go along…

Excellent work BTW, truly inspirational

I have admired your work a long ago (6 months  ), Your’e such a talented artist…

Just started with zbrush a few monts ago in school, having much fun with it, and i am really amazed about the power of this software, but you… you squeeze it and make it so great!

Any advice for the Z-noobs??
