The new, complete ZBrush manual

I’d like to echo the excitement some of you expressed in another thread – the Version 1.23 Manual is here!

ZBrush v1.23 Manual

We’re very happy to make this available, and we hope you find it an excellent companion to your software. Enjoy!

dave

is anyone else getting errors from the pdf?

from the acrobat reader:
error: “too few operands”
“an unrecognizable token ‘cl’ was found”
“unable to extract embedded font EHMNBG+ACaslon-Semibold”

acrobat 4.0 says the file is corrupted and tries to repair it but then gives the same errors as acrobat reader.

i’ve downloaded the file twice. same errors both times. end result most of the headers appear as black or gray dots.

no PDF problems here, kitsch… the unstuffed version works fine on my Mac as far as i can see- with the exception that the intranetbased printer at the office went gaga at my (in-official) attempt to print the 302 pages there!

Nope. It’s perfect. I used Acrobat 4.0 also. Have you tried opening anything else, say some older pdf’s? Maybe something’s corrupt in your Acrobat and you might have to re-install it.

Help! I still can’t find 1.23 manual, someone can tell me where is??

Acrobat 5.0…no problem.

Did you try clicking on the link in Davey’s Post?

If that doesn’t work for you try going there from the main page at

Pixologic Home

I search for many times, but i just see old manuals, not 1.23 manual, somebody can tell me the situation, thanks!

When you get to the site with the manuals, try clicking on the “Refresh” button in your web browser. The 1.23 manual is the one on the very top.

It sounds like you might be accessing an older version of the web page, stored in your temporary internet files folder.

Now that is strange! I am staring at it right now
here is a direct link

Thanks, i got it!

Kitsch,

Yes, I’m getting exactly the same errors as you mentioned with one small difference (you may not have typed it). I’m getting, “There was an error processing a page. Too few operands.” So, a problem on ‘one’ page?

I’m opening, reviewing, resaving pdfs quite often. Not sure what’s happening here. I do have Acrobat 5.0 which I haven’t installed, yet. Guess I’ll try that.

Adman

thanks adman.
i thought it was odd that i was the only one getting errors. i installed acrobat version 5 of the reader on my g4 at work and i’m still getting a corrupted file error. 5 won’t even open the pdf. i’ve downloaded the file 3 times after deleting the previous downloads and still it’s corrupted. i can open other pdfs with no problem. i’m going to see if i can open it up on my pc at home.
