The Moustached Batman - Digital Sculpture
In this piece, I re-imagined Batman through my own sculptural language, blending the iconic vigilante with an unexpected human element — a bold moustache.
The rough clay treatment emphasises raw form and imperfection, allowing the character to feel grounded, almost mythic rather than purely comic-book heroic.
I focused on strong facial planes and tension around the eyes and mouth to suggest a hardened protector shaped by conflict.
The moustache introduces a subtle cultural reinterpretation, transforming a familiar symbol into something more personal and experimental.
Through this sculpture, I explored how altering a single feature can shift the psychological identity of a legendary character.
