The Morrigan

I present to you my latest project in collaboration with Journeyman Miniatures
The Morrigan, Goddess or War, Fate and Death. She will be produced as a 1:24th resin miniature.

“She is known by many names: Badb, Macha, Nemain, Fae. She is the beating of the drum, the clarion call to war, the herald of death. Her chosen fated to fall in battle against insurmountable odds, their names and deeds to be sung for all eternity. She is the Phantom Queen, she is the Morrigan.”

Hope you like :slight_smile:

@Spyndel Thanks a lot! :slight_smile:

Thank you very much @Geert_Etcher_Melis! Glad you like :grin:

Thanks @Kniazhentceva! :slight_smile: For the crow wings I first I made a mesh with the basic shape of the wing, then made some different meshes of feathers and placed them one by one accordingly. For the body of the crows it’s a mixture of sculpting and nanomesh. Hope this helps! :slight_smile:

Nicely done! The 3D print details from your sculpt came out very nice. What printer are you using?

Thanks @Jaime Jamie! The print was done by a printing service we use but I don’t know what printer he’s using, but I’m always happy to work with him :slight_smile:

@CASculpts
Where did you get concept arts characters from?

I did the concept for this one, some of the items like shield and helm are actually historical items from the British museum
