The mesh is composed of multiple subdivision levels. Delete ore freeze and try again

Hello,

i wanted to sculpt around and create a young female face out of the demo head.
now i want to add new orbs for the eyes. but i get the error mesage: “The mesh is composed of multiple subdivision levels. Delete ore freeze the subdivision levels and try again”

Now there is a problem.
if i try to freeze them under Geometry/ Freeze SubDivision Levels, i get an other error: “the mesh is composed of multiple HighDef subdivision levels”
so i think i have to delete them?
but it doesn’t mater how i select lower res and higher res… the delete lower or higher buttons always greyed out.

what does i have to do? the eyeballs doesn’t get round enough :frowning:

btw: what is the best way to draw pupils? culdn’t find out how to have soft edges on drawing.

PS: please give me a hint if and where i have to upoad the zpr file if you need it to find and fix my problem.

EDIT:
i found an other button “make polymesh 3d” which just fixed it. but i don’t know why, because i worked from the demo male head to create female head.

The Make Polymesh 3D button creates a copy of the selected mesh but without subdivision levels.

To paint soft edges make sure an alpha is selected that has a soft radial fade (such as alpha 39). You can also turn down the RGB Intensity to paint softer colors.
