Wow, I think it’s great! The eyes are very original and his expression really fits the title of this post.
thank you very much!
I want to know if it seems real to you?
I tried to make it realistic
simple reply nice post -great mood.
thank you ,boozy floozie!
That is Great! all around Fabulous.
How did you do the background
I used two pictures ,one for the foreground, and one for the background.
I composed all three pictures in photoshop.
I blured the background and erased the foreground pic except the visible tree .
and thanks Harmonic!
Wow! He’s tragi-comical! Love the expression and the composition is nicely done. small_orange_diamond
yes you’re right and thanks!
That is SO realistic looking ! I am amazed ! It looks better than a photography of the “real” thing. Geez ! And combining 3 pics how you did just MAKES it . Thank you very much for explaining cutting and combining the pics. It really works . This is great and very inspiring. I cannot wait to see more of your work. Thanks.
thank you,rick!

A little Making of…
The zbrush render
I clicked on your name yesterday and if i remember right, ( not much sleep) your 20 years old. I want to say this to you. You have seriously strong talent , your innovative and are pushing the envelope in your art. Dont even think of slowing down or backing off in your modeling. Dont slack off. Your young and have a bright future ahead of you. I am 54 and wish i was 15 right now. Maybe i’d have a chance to catch up to you. LOL ! I have created a folder with your name on it. I intend to follow your work, well, i mean save your pics , etc, for inspiration. I’ve not done much with zbrush, its kind of overwhelming. I think i have a better grasp on some things now and intend to dive into it again. Thanks for posting more pics. Those eyeballs are really something. You have really fired me up to attempt zbrush again. Thanks, man. rick
…creature!
Dang, definitely a nice job. Love the expression as has been said many times now. It has a little bit of a cartoony look, but overall looks fairly realistic.
rick woodward:Thank you for encouraging me:D and I want to wish you luck with zbrush!!!It’s never too late !
When I started with zb nothing went right and I put it aside but after a year I started again and it has much better!
Now with zb 3 it will be even better!!
Are you a pro artist ,Rick or it’s just a passion?
Frenchy Pilou: Thanks!
Kryos:Thanks!
Well, i dont know about pro, but i’ve been woodcarving for 30 years. Currently do it for a living. I also build rustic furniture, carved signs, carved home decor etc. And yes, i have always been passionate about art, i started drawing when i was 4 years old. But you cant tell it now ! HA ! HA!. I am now working with a cnc router for wood. So my interest in CG is needed now to model for toolpathing. I been looking into all kinds of modeling programs. Most are buggy, not really good for my needs and or too complicated. I believe zbrush is the best answer. I too left zbrush for a year and a half. I have to get into it big time now. Hope i can find printable, very good tutorials. That way i can follow slowly til i get it. LOL ! Take care , man.
