hey guys anyone using the latest xnormal 3.17 3b ???
in the release change note it said this build was made support to the vertice color info in obj export from zbrush… just wondering anyone knows what exactly does that mean???
for starter i thought we can just simply export the high poly model with poly paint from zbrush in obj format, then we can utilise the vertice color info to bake out disfuss color to the low mesh (and no longer require high poly model color map in xnormal for disfuss baking)… but later experiemnt has proven me to be wrong …
so can anyone here tell me what it means and how i can utilise this???
moreover, the laster xnormal has included Optix renderer in alpha… which should be quite awesome … but i dont seem to be able to use this renderer to bake any map at all … every time i tried to use it… the following message pop up : “invalid image (detail: function “rtcontextsetdevice” caught exception” …
so what did i do wrong???
any helpful tips would be appriciated
