Hi I’m new to this forum and wanted to start a thread to get some feedback on a sculpt I’m about to start. I wanted to do something for the Superhero contest but I don’t think I have enough time left to finish so I thought I would post my progress here. C&Cs are welcome. Thanks!

A very enjoyable concept piece Jim !
The welts made me laugh and don’t distract from the overall character at all.
Suggestion; apply fur to certain areas of the character rather than black/yellow wearables, like a real bee has the tiny bristles of fur. Dripping honey from perhaps his utility belt (?)
Regardless of not being able to enter into the competition, please continue to create him !
By the way, what did you create the concept with ? Zbrush, painter, cs ?

Thanks for the good suggestions, I will keep them in mind when I start the modeling. As far as this image goes, I drew some small thumbnails and then scanned in my favorite one, enlarged it and painted it all in photoshop.
