The Joker

Hello!
Here is my Joker sculpt in Zbrush. It is based on the concept by Sideshow Collectibles.

It looks really great! I love it ! The clothes look brilliant.
Thanks,

Hristina

This looks pretty good. The main problem I notice is that your folds are very unnatural. It seems like you just randomly sculpted them instead of using reference and taking into account how gravity and the underlying body affects how the folds fall. I know the statue you based this off of and if you look at it carefully, the folds are very natural on that piece. You should also check out a lot of reference on folds on that type of clothing and material to see how that affects the folds. I also saw that you did a Wolverine which looks also to be based off of the sideshow statue. The anatomy on that piece is very unusual. It would be beneficial for you to really study human muscle anatomy to get that looking accurate. You seem to sculpt details just fine but you are lacking in proper anatomy, proportion, and realistic folds. I hope this doesn’t come off as sounding too harsh but I think it is valuable to get anatomy and proportion correct or nothing is going to look right in the end. Good luck on future pieces!

Thanks Hristina:)

Thanks. It did not sound to harsh. In fact you should be more harsh. What you said was valuable since I want to get on the Top Row.
