✨The Inner Universe - Digital Sculpture by Surajit Sen

Happy International Yoga Day 2026

“Cosmos Within” explores the inward journey of consciousness, where the human form becomes a vessel for the universe. Inspired by the seven chakras and the ascent of awareness through the Sushumna, the sculpture reflects a simple belief:
Body is Clay. Breath is Energy. Mind is Universe.
Rooted in the philosophy that the Body is Clay, the Breath is Energy, and the Mind is the Universe , the ascending energy centres symbolise the awakening and harmonisation of the seven principal chakras—Muladhara, Svadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha, Ajna, and Sahasrara.
In this contemporary digital sculpture, I explore the inward journey of consciousness, where the human form becomes a vessel for the cosmos, and the boundaries between self and universe gently dissolve.
The arboreal forms emerging from the figure signify growth, transformation, and the perpetual expansion of awareness; each sphere represents a fragment of the infinite cosmos residing within the human spirit.
My sculptural practice is often drawn towards the convergence of anatomy, spirituality, and cosmic symbolism, reflecting a contemplative temperament that seeks unity between material existence and metaphysical inquiry.
Through this work, I endeavour to visualise meditation not as an escape from reality, but as a profound recognition that the individual and the universe are expressions of the same eternal energy.
