I am fascinated by the fragile boundary between the grotesque and the believable, sculpting forms that feel as though they have emerged from some forgotten nightmare or ancient folklore.
Through exaggerated anatomy, weathered skin, and unsettling asymmetry, I seek to evoke a sense of unease whilst preserving a trace of vulnerability beneath the creature’s monstrous exterior.
This sculpture reflects my enduring curiosity about psychological darkness, mortality, and transformation, where every wrinkle, fold, and imperfection becomes a visual record of a life shaped by suffering and survival.
