“The Fossil Warden” – Digital Sculpture
This sculpture emerges from my fascination with primordial brutality and weathered biological architecture; every scar, horn and calcified texture was sculpted to evoke the sensation of an extinct predator resurrected through memory rather than anatomy.
I instinctively gravitate towards asymmetry, erosion and dense tactile surfaces, because I believe imperfection carries psychological truth; the creature’s oppressive mass and exhausted gaze mirror my own attraction towards silent aggression and ancient melancholy.
My digital sculpting process often imitates traditional clay excavation ,I do not merely construct forms, I uncover them layer by layer, allowing accidental textures and fractured silhouettes to dictate the emotional temperament of the final entity.
