Hi,
I’m starting a ZBrush course at university next week, and all students of the course are given a free student version of ZBrush 2018.
I am able to install ZBrush with the provided installer, and install the accompanying university license file without any issues.
But when I try to run ZBrush I get this message:
“The Floating License lib could not be found. Unable to check out licenses.”
I am getting the exact same message on both my university laptop and my desktop PC.
My friends don’t have any problems, so I’m thinking it might have something to do with the fact that I have had ZBrush installed on both my PC’s before, because last year I installed some sort of free student trial version of ZBrush 4R6 or 4R7 that I played around with while it was active.
I uninstalled that previous version just now before installing this new version.
I’d appreciate any help I can get.
The course starts next week and I need to have ZBrush up and running before then.
