The Faun

o_fauno.jpg Hi, guys!
That is a character that I have created to join another ones mythologycs characters that I have created since some time ago. It was modeled in Lightwave but the displacement map was created in ZBrush. I hope you like. Bye!

Very nice! I love the texturing, especially on the chest. The eyes really shove his personality at us. Nice job.

Hi Mauro!! Glad to see you posting here guy! great result on your model… and great news to hear you using zbrush now! it’ll certainly turn your models much more stunning than before;) hope to see more stuff from you here soon:) can’t wait for the next… cya

I like the looks of this guy. A little mischief in his eyes. Not sure I want to meet up with this guy in his present mood. Looks great.

Cool. Can’t wait for ā€˜The Moose’!!!

_Vexona- Hi, Vexona! Thanks, I am glad that you liked!

_Wandddo- Hey, Evandro! Thanks, dude! There is a lot to learn but I think it is a good start. Let me see what can I improve and then I will keep to posting here. Thank you for your constant suport. Bye!

_arlem- Hi, arlem! Thanks!

_Mr.Monster- Hi, Mr! Thanks, dude! I am really happy that you liked!

_DMerchen- Hehehe… I am sure that I donĀ“t want to meet this guy in any mood! I tryed to create a strong and powerfull expression to him because to me the fauns werenĀ“t good dudes, hehehe…Thanks for your reply!

_Jason Belec- Hi, Jason. I have created some mooses but I didn“t use zbrush in this case. If you wanna check it out you can see some of them here:

Hahahaha, nice, but you have apparently never seen a moose!

_Jason Belec- Hahaha… Sorry, Jason, I mixed up everything! As you can see my english isnĀ“t so good and I had a mistake with the words moose and muse, hehehe.   Now I know what ā€œMOOSEā€ means. Bye!

As for moosi, I would expect you have a pet one, Mr. Canadian.

Cool character! Great subtle expression.

maurocor, you can borrow an old pair of glasses if you like!! You really shouldn’t mix up a Muse and a Moose!!

womball, yes I do, been up close, way too close on 2 occassions. For those never having been that close, think of a critter elephant size, long stilt legs, no fear and king of it’s domain. They are really, really big. One of the critters was a male with a full rack of antlers, I had less worries with a Polar Bear!

Keep up the great work maurocor.
