Very Very “cool” Character! Congratulations!
Just 3 minor things:
- The distortion made trough the glasses doesn’t make them look too thick -specially his left one
- The teeth and the shirt look like they’re made from the same material
- The short hair doesn’t work so fine -they’re all aligned-
I’m sure with just some minor ajustments it’ll be a perfect image
The color is excellent in my opinion -gives him that redheaded blushy kinda look-
I insist… very “cool” character and nicely done!
and yes the shirt collar has carved an enormous gash in his neck without spilling one drop of blood.
All this we forgive cos it fab.

here too - on a calibrated crt. looks good with the saturation i think. i like the cartoony colors personally.

Great character you have there Mr Patton.
I like it a lot but just a thing, it’s about the shirt texture, you have some strange effect on tiling. (see pic) Other than that it’s an excellent composition.

Maya4fun I did a crappy job setting up the UVs on the shirt .I did not set them up along the proper seam lines like a real shirt, When I pull the shirt collar out of his neck
I will fix that!

Well , he got a new shirt and background. I’m finally getting a grip on mental ray (kind of) with a bit of Lemonnadonian Geometry, all things are possible!!.
