Hi everyone,just like to say thankyou for all the kind words and helpful insights on The Creature.Once again I,d like to add my inspirations again being Steve Wang’s work ,namely Abe Sapien,and the creature from the Monster Squad,does anyone know what ever happened to the planned remake of the creature fro mthe black lagoon?that would be cool.
Wonderful model! Though I have some crits about the textures, as they are they seem to obscure alot of the wonderful modeling you did, meaning it looks very low res in comparison, almost to the point of blurry in some places. I would say ramp up your map to 4096x4096 if not already or just define the areas and general texture a bit more.
Also aside from the above, some more specularity would add much more realism to the image given what type of creature he is.
One finally thing, take him off the black BG, it’s probably the reason for most of what I mentioned
