I’ve added Paolo’s sketch so you can see the modifications made to avoid problems with injection molding (filling holes, hooks of material that hangs in the molds, minimum thickness for plastic injection, cutting plan of the molds, size of the details…) : The spear and the stick will be molded in ABS (which is more rigid) and the other parts in PVC.
Don’t forget that for plastic pieces like this one, the piece has a height of 38mm from the feet to the top of the head. Unfortunately, there are many things to consider in order to prevent problems and that sometimes we have to bend the concept to fit the specifications :).
Illustrators like to mess with us by giving us things that are impossible to produce in series (well for this one it was okay)
