Beautiful work!!! I love the piranha heads and the details on the armor texture. Could you tell us how you created the water?
Very impressive. I am having a hard time figuring out what is happening though. I don’t know if that is a derelict statue of some sort in the back ground or a dead creature that these fish heads have killed. Maybe a tweak of some sort to the composition would help tell the story better. Don’t get me wrong though…it is a stunning piece and I have seen worse in the top row.

Hy texxx, I love your composition , I find the mood is super cool and reflects perfectly alien world without tons of details ( strangely my brain wants to know what gonna heppen next and why they are stearing in this direction), maybe one little thing taugh, you can try to pose one of the alien with pointing arm like if he was pointing something at far, this way you can avoid impression they are the same model in almost identical pose, for instence the guy without the gun can point with his finger, and also maybe scale down the birds so we’ll get even greater sence of scale of this statue/rock ( this is my opinion , may be I am wrong

@Aliasfx: I agree, the two aliens cretatures aren’t enough different. I’ve previously planned to make different set of textures for the armours and make a zebra stripped version for that purpose. But it didn’t work very good, so I’ve finally used the same maps for both. And I completly forgot to mirror the second alien (as you can see, the top part of the armor isn’t symetrical, to avoid the clone effect)
@Pittgilman: Yes, you’re right too. The big monster shader doesn’t work very well, so it’s look like he’s made of stone. (yes, it’s a dead creature).
@zberry: the water is a very simple shader. I’ve photoshoped the render for the white foam effects… and I’ve used a photo for the small waves effects in the bottom right corner.
