The Bottom Expansion

Hello!

In addition the right and left palette menus, there is also the bar at the bottom.
I know that with the toggle interface button you can get a selection of brushes down there.

My question:

How can I get other things down there? The different menus won’t go in there, which is fine, as the space is not suited for it. HOWEVER, what would be more than fantastic is if you could dock your favorite brushes and alphas down there. What would be an excellent edition (if this can’t already happen and I just haven’t figured it out) is allowing people to drag or browse alphas as well as drag and drop some of their most used brushes, taking the navigation work of getting to a new brush and alpha away. This would greatly benefit workflow and help satisfy Pixologic’s goal of letting artists create at the speed of their imagination. The alpha displays could also be larger so it is easier to see a representation of what you would be getting than the small icons in the current alpha window.

So to sum up: Is there a way currently to do the above, and if not - please consider it for future releases.

that is exactly what that pallette is for…at least in my opinion.

if you change the default UI (arrows on the top right of the interface) and go to the sculpting interface you’ll see how this works. You can drag and drop any interface button into this. you just have to make sure you turn on custom UI, do your changes, disable custom UI, then save out your new UI.

hope this helps.

Thanks, I learned earlier that you actually can drag out individual alphas. Before I had only successfully transferred the alpha selector (rather than individual alphas) - so it was basically just moving that somewhere else instead of creating a small library at the bottom.

I’ll have to do some more experimentation.

Thanks for the reply.
