The Binding of Isaac - Mom's Awakening

I told you, ZbrushCentral, I’d be coming back with my diorama of The Binding of Isaac. Well, wait no more since the time has come !

It’s a concept of what the game, originally in 2D, could look like in 3D, with the same kind of treatment that Nintendo gave the remake of Zelda - Link’s Awakening, on Switch. My goal was to make it all sculpted, with a plastic figurine aspect. I decided to sculpt and render even the user interface elements.

I sculpted and painted in Zbrush. I baked and painted some additional maps in Substance Painter. I worked on the shaders, the lighting, the cameras and the rendering in Blender, using Cycles. I worked with the build of Blender 4.0, currently in Alpha, to use the new Light Linking features.
