Hope I have your help to construct a Zphoto wall.

Interesting idea for a thread, H! I’ll have to give some thought to this, and if the bell rings, I’ll be there!

:+1: :sunglasses: :+1:

Good idea! I might give it a try… although I’m not that good at drawing humans yet

Hey, Gerlon…There are lots of ‘World Famous’ photos that don’t have humans in them…Consider the crash of the Hindenburg Zeppelin for instance…

Of course Gerlon, this thread refers to all kind of themes if it is a world famous photo.
With people, without people, nature, human intervenience, everything!!! The only thing is that the photo must be known for at least…well…80%of the humanity.
Hope to see your works guys!

This picture was 5%ZBrush and 95% Steve McCurry geniality.
I had to say this because I really love his work. :qu:

Hi Houdini,

I don’t have an image to offer but did want to comment on the power of the original photo. If anyone has not seen the most recent National Geographic - it will be worth your time to seek it out. The eyes of this woman are the most captivating I’ve ever seen, nor will I ever again see any this beautiful. If this was a portrait of a woman from anywhere in the industrialized world you’d say she was wearing contacts - that eyes of this splendor were not possible in nature. Simply ravishing !!

Fine topic Houdini

I would participate but I dont really have the motive to figure out something to draw. Maybe if someone posted up a photo and everyone tried to draw it that could be fun.

Gerlon, check out this site…It might give you a subject… http://www.pathfinder.com/photo/index.html
There are lots of good photo sites on the net, if this doesn’t help…

this sounds like a lot of fun… ill try to get on it soon… i think its time for you newbies to meet monorobo…and if robos reading this im sure hell post it again… and if not you can find it at 3dcommune.com

Well well well…so people, where are those ZPhotos??? Come on!!! I know you can do terrific works with this theme…

Houdini, do you happen to have the original photo handy? I would love to actually see it again  If not it’s cool, but I thought it was worth asking.

Here it is, taken from the National Geographic web site(I recommend it  )

awesome. You did a good job modelling from that photograph, well done.

Interesting idea, if I can find some world famous landscape that I like I might just give it a shot.
