Texturing

hi all.

I have a problem here… i have modelled a dinosaur but i can not texture it. here is what i do with zbrush 3.2:

i open zbrush and load tool which is the dinosaur, then turn on mrgb, then lower the resolution to 1, then go to uv map and select guvTiles,
then higher the res to highest. then go to texture menu and import the texture in psd or jpg but here the texture would not apply to the tool.

please help me. im realy stuck here.

That technique won’t work anyway using GUV tiling. Do some research on Polypainting in ZBrush.

Does anyone know if the 3D plane/texture painting still works in 3.2?

I can’t get any texture to show up on the 3D plane. Help Please. Thanks.

make 3dplane a polymesh 3D by pushing button in the tool pallete. then load your texture.

I must have found a bug in the 3D plane tool. No texture loads on it at all. I beta test for other software so I pretty good have bumping into bugs.

I’ll write a ticket after I do more studying. it must be a ZB 3.2 OSX bug. You guys are probably on PC.
