Texturing with projection master

Hi,

could someone please explain to me how to texture with projection master?
The author of a tutorial I´ve read described the process as followed:

  1. Assign white Shader to your model (I´ve chosen the flat shader)
  2. Create a new Texture (created a 2048x2048 Texture)
  3. Drop your model use only color
  4. Select the Plane-tool
  5. Select an appropriate alpha
  6. Select the texture you want to paint on
  7. Paint the texture
  8. Pick up the model again

So far, so good, but when I am picking up the model again my texture is gone and the model is all white again. What do I have to do, to keep the texture sticking on my model? Please help me, this is really stupid.

I found out, that when I press “enable uv” and then “txr>col” + switching on mrgb, my painted texture sticks to the model. Is this the right approach?
