texturing question (adjusting texture to mesh)

Hi,

I’m pretty much a newbie in Zbrush texturing, apart using Zapplink.

I recently saw a clip/movie of a guy that has projected lips on a mesh and than he moved only the TEXTURE to fit it to the meshes lips (this was done in Zbrush not Photoshop ;D ).
Anyway, he was moving the mesh so he was not in Projection Master. Than, he continued doing some polypaint adjustment and carried on. Because there was no voice and the video was only the canvas I could NOT saw the tools he used.
Could someone tell me how to do this inside Zbrush? How to apply a part of texture and than adjust it to the mesh?

thank you,

cheers

He was probably using Zproject with an image plane.

With Zproject brush you can move a mesh to fit a texture ( and move the texture too if it’s an image plane). In projection master you can move a texture around on a mesh.

[del] double.

agree with bingo, but it would help if you posted a link to the video.

you’re right about showing a video. Went to my friend this morning and he found the video for me. Here’s the video on youtube.
I’d like to know what is the technique he is using during both texturing processes.
I understand that he did a BASE texturing (just the skin color) in projection master.
One is polipaint… and than?

thank you,

cheers

Thanks for the link. Is there audio? I have no audio from the download. ~S.~

No, there is no audio. sorry.

Still, thou, I’d like to know what texturing techniques he is using apart from polypainting.

cheers.

anyone?
