So I’m having a problem where I import an .ma file from maya where I’ve setup the UV’s. This is in Zbrush v3.5. I apply a texture, and it looks fine, no stretching, etc… using texture 32 as a test. Then i set the repeat values as high as they’ll go to make the pattern smaller. It works and looks great. However, when I try to either transfer this to a polypaint or “select by intensity” to mask it off, it’s as if i never repeated the texture and goes back to the unrepeated version.
any ideas on what may be happening here? Does repeating a texture with outside UV’s not actually “stick”?
