Texture seams in Cinema 4D

Hello folks,

Does anybody know of a way to fix the texture seams that appear on my models after loading them into Cinema 4D?. They look great when loaded into Maya, so it’s definitely a Cinema 4D problem.

I’ve search the forums but I can only find references to displacement map issues. I’ve also looked at the ‘ZBrush to Cinema 4D’ section in the ZBrush manual, but no mention of texture seams.

Anybody :qu:

Unless things have changed in the last few versions of C4D, it applies texture filtering by default. That can actually cause seams to show up in your renders. Make sure to turn off any texture filtering (such as texture antialiasing).

Another thing to try is to apply the texture to your model in ZBrush and then press Tool>Texture>Fix Seams. This overpaints the edges of the texture, making it more resistant to alignment issues in other apps.

thank you, mr aurick!
