Texture problems

Hi, got a little problem conserning a texture to my model. When i was done poly painting and saving the texture as Subdiv 1 just to check how it looked, my pc suddenly crashed… Now when i open up my texture again and assing it to my model, raising the subdivs wont change the texture quality like it did before. How can i fix this?

When you convert your polypaint to a texture, you should be at your highest subdiv level, not your lowest. Mesh density = texture resolution. Remember that.

Go to the texture pallet and choose No Texture. Hopefully your polypaint is still there. If so it should look fine again when you dial your subdivs back up.
