Texture Painting Workflow

Hello again everyone.

I tried searching on here and couldnt find anything that resembels what I am looking for, although I bet it has been answered before. But I will ask again.

What is the best workflow for texture painting in Zbrush?

Should I start by creating UVs in UV master? Then do the polypaint method? Do UVs matter in the end? I bet they do especially if I plan on modeling a low resolution character.

Does anyone know of any good tutorials on such a workflow?

And what about UV master? It does not want to seem to follow where I paint Attract and Protect. It just straight up ignors what I have painted.

UVs don’t matter if you’re using polypaint.

UVmaster is more of a suggestion, than a hard fast rule. I rarely use UV master for this reason.

There should be a ton of tutorials on youtube covering high to low poly workflows that incorporate Zbrush.
