texture opacity

Hi

I want to paint a texture with a simple brush and dragrect stroke, but whe I try to make it bigger, it lose opacity automatically.
if I apply an alpha I have same issue, my alpha turns smother when I try to make it bigger.

how can I avoid this?

Your image is only 1024 square. You may need a larger texture.

I don´t think it is a resolution problem, I mean, It would not be transparent at all no matter the image resolution… don´t you think so?

Hmm. You’re working on a white background(the canvas), not painting on a mesh. A mesh needs sufficient divisions to ‘hold’ that information.
